Jumping in with a full squad, the fun was immediate. The controls are simple WASD movement with a flashlight toggle, making it easy for anyone to pick up. Performance was smooth, with the intentionally low-poly, textured visuals adding to the retro nightmare feel rather than detracting from it. The learning curve is gentle—you learn by dying, or more accurately, by getting snatched by a lurking monster. One moment that truly exceeded expectations occurred when our team got separated. The frantic, crackling radio calls between us as we tried to describe our identical-yet-different locations, while hearing distant footsteps, was pure horror magic.
